ABDEL AZIZ ALI
Non-Executive Chairman
Abdel Aziz Ali currently serves as the Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Production Company. He has 38 years of experience across various industries, including healthcare, agriculture, fast-moving consumer goods, and financial services. Abdel Aziz co-founded various successful businesses in Egypt including Chipsy (later acquired by PepsiCo), Al Shorouk Hospital (later acquired by Abraaj Group), and Al-Masreyin Dairy (later acquired by Citadel Capital). He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Cairo University.

MOHSEN MAHGOUB
Vice Chairman and Managing Director
Mohsen Mahgoub has over 40 years of experience across various industries including healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods, and financial services. He co-founded numerous successful businesses in Egypt including Chipsy (later acquired by PepsiCo), Al Shorouk Hospital (later acquired by Abraaj Group), Al-Masreyin Dairy (later acquired by Citadel Capital), and Incolease – Egypt’s largest leasing company. Moshen is the Chairman of the Arab International Investment Group, currently serves on the boards of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt and Dar El Eyoun Hospital, and has sat on the boards of SAIB Bank and Incolease. Mohsen graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy in 1966.

MAHMOUD ABDEL GAWAD
Executive Director
Mahmoud Abdel Gawad is co-founder and co-CEO of Ibnsina Pharma overlooking commercial, operations, IT, quality assurance, and administration activities. Prior to founding Ibnsina Pharma, Mahmoud held several senior-executive positions at companies in Egypt and abroad; he has a proven executive-management track record spanning 28 years. Mahmoud holds an MBA as well as a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Cairo University.

OMAR ABDEL GAWAD
Executive Director
Omar Abdel Gawad is co-founder and co-CEO of Ibnsina Pharma, having held a number of senior management positions overseeing the company’s marketing and sales activities over the past 18 years. His management scope includes sales, marketing, finance, and HR activities. Omar holds an MBA as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from The American University in Cairo.

With over 28 years of pharmaceutical industry experience focused on pharmaceutical sales under his belt, Ahmed Abdel Gawad has held various sales positions at multinational companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol Myers Squibb. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ain Shams University.

Mohamed Mahgoub is the Founder and Managing Director of Sky Supplies and has over 11 years of experience across multiple industries including financial services, consulting, and consumer products. He currently serves on the boards of Dar El Khebrah Consultancy and Mediterranean Securities Brokerage. Mohamed holds a bachelor’s in marketing and international business from Middlesex University.

HANY BADR
Independent Director
Hany Badr has an extensive, four-decade career in the finance and banking industry, serving most recently as Head of Treasury at Faisal Islamic Bank until 2016. Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant General Manager at Delta Bank. Hany holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cairo University.

Abdel Rehim Omar currently holds the post of General Manager at Faisal Islamic Bank, where he has faithfully spent his entire 35-year career financial career. He also heads the bank’s Internal Audit function. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and commerce from Ain Shams University.

Mohamed Zaki is currently a research analyst at the United Nations Migration Agency in Egypt and has over 10 years of experience in consulting and social services. Prior to that, he was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from The American University in Cairo and a master’s degree and PhD in social anthropology from The London School of Economics.

Ahmed Elnawawi has a decades-long track record of success in brand building and strategy development. He held prominent posts at Procter & Gamble (PG) Company and Reckitt Benckiser (RB), leveraging superior consumer insight, strategic thinking, business and market understanding at both companies. He currently holds the role of Director, Consumer & Market Insight, Developing Markets at RB after having held the post of Regional Business Unit Associate Director at P&G since 2010 and being with the company since 1997 in several capacities. He holds a Global Executive MBA from Tsinghua – INSEAD, China-Singapore, a Post Graduate Degree in Feasibility Studies and Project Appraisal from Cairo University, and a BA in Economics from Cairo University.

Hoda Wally has 35 years of extensive experience in banking sector with Commercial International Bank ( CIB ) . She held different positions in CIB till heading the retail banking and the Woman banking. In 2010, Hoda started her entrepreneurship journey by founding the renowned chocolate brand “Choco Chocola” to introduce a luxury experience to chocolate lovers using only the finest, freshest and highest quality ingredients together with unique attention to details in order to offer a touch of elegance yet up to date recipes. Hoda served on the boards of different companies including El Sheikh Zayed Hospital and Experts for Food Industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from American University in Cairo (AUC).

Chief Financial Officer
Momen Gomaa is currently the CFO of Ibnsina Pharma, overseeing strategic management of all financial activities including legal and risk analysis, treasury, accounting, budgeting, credit and external audit activities. He is an accomplished executive with over 19 years of experience in finance management. He is an important member of the leadership team that has transformed Ibnsina Pharma into a profit-making business that delivers outstanding financial and operational results. Momen holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Ain Shams University in Cairo.

RABEEA MARZOUK
Director of Sales
As a Director of Sales, Rabeea Marzouk leads Ibnsina Pharma’s sales activities including retail, tele-sales, bulk sales, distribution, fleet maintenance and tenders. During his 16 years at Ibnsina Pharma, Rabeea has combined entrepreneurial drive with strategic sales vision to achieve the company’s objectives relating to rapid growth, market share and profitability. As a result of Rabeea’s efforts, Ibnsina Pharma has gained market shares and surpassed market growth rates over the previous six years. Rabeea Marzouk holds a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from Alexandria University and an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Prior to joining Ibnsina Pharma, Rabeea occupied significant sales positions at various reputable companies over more than six years.

MOHAMED ADEL
Director of Operations
Mohamed Adel is Director of Operations at Ibnsina Pharma, with more than 17 years of hands-on experience. He has complete business responsibility for strategic management of all warehouses, operations purchasing, operations technical development and third-party logistics activities. Mohamed’s management duties also include developing sound processes and strategies to ensure compliance with local and international quality standards. He led the launch of Ibnsina Pharma’s new third-party logistics (3PL) service, which reached full capacity within a short period. Additionally, Mohamed designed and successfully automated the processes for many operational tasks, reducing costs and increasing efficiency. His focus on operational efficiency and innovation has played an important role in increasing sales and achieving desired growth. Mohamed holds an MBA as well as a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Ain Shams University.

MOHAMED SHAWKY
Investor Relations Officer
Mohamed Shawky has over 14 years of experience in investor relations as well as corporate and family governance. Prior to joining Ibinsina Pharma, he served as Head of Investor Relations at Mezzan Holding, Kuwait, where he established the company’s Investor Relations department and drafted and implemented its corporate governance framework. In 2017, Shakwy was nominated for Best Investor Relations Professional in Kuwait award by the Middle East Investor Relations Association. Before this, he served as Senior Manager of Investor Relations at Egyptian Resorts Company, where he oversaw the company’s IR program and advised the Board of Directors on corporate governance practices. Earlier in his career, Shawky served as Senior Investor Relations Executive at Raya Holdings and, before that, Senior Financial Analyst at the Cairo and Alexandrian Stock Exchanges. He is currently a part-time instructor at the Egyptian Institute of Directors. Shawky received his BA in economics from Cairo University and his MBA from Arab Academy for Science and Technology. He has also received a certification from the UK Investor Relations Society.
